Along with the addition of band-shell and balcony canopies to provide visual and audio focus for afternoon and evening performances, the School of Music atrium is revitalized through the development of an interactive interface to the Music Library. The multi-media activities of the Library are brought up to and into and out from the wall: the circulation desk, the recent media acquisitions (books, CDs, DVDs), the School’s Baroque instrument collection, and research stations for digital listening.
