The dock of this waterfront house is drawn up into and onto the house as the new dining room, rooftop deck, and top deck — an inverse inhabition.
The dock of this waterfront house is drawn up into and onto the house as the new dining room, rooftop deck, and top deck. These inversions of water and land, land and air, lead to two other inversions: the front facade is turned up and over the top deck to be a new facade to these outdoor rooms, and the form of the inside dining room table raises up to form an outdoor dining table skylight set directly over the indoor table.
